Creating Timeless Content
Unless you are blogging about topics that require you to provide the latest and greatest such as news or celebrity gossip, you should focus your writing on timeless content.
Timeless content is content you write that can be useful today, tomorrow, and even as much as 5 years from now.
It’s been my experience and observation that blogs designed around news or current events die as soon as the posts stop coming on a consistent basis. So unless you can blog or have a team of bloggers who can write on a daily and sometimes multiple times daily – you really should consider developing your own set of timeless content.
With a library of timeless content, people will be reading your blog for months or years after you stop writing as long as the content has some value for them.
When you think of timeless content, what do you think of?

My Comment Commitment: If you leave an approved comment on any of my posts, I will visit your blog and “share it” in some way whether on StumbleUpon, Twitter or Facebook depending on if I can find a nice fit.
