How often do you Stumble?
When it comes to StumbleUpon — I’ve not been as active as much as I would like. I’ve not been able to completely figure out the concept just yet. I do know that on occasion, I do see quite a spike in traffic on various blogs because of Stumblers. I know enough to know that I can click the thumbs-up on web pages I like and it somehow helps the author out.
Because I’m lacking in Stumble knowledge and because I’m curious as to how this actually works, I went straight to the professional I trust the most when it comes to StumbleUpon.
While reading tips from Neil Patel, an Elite Retreat speaker discussing Social Media — I realized I might be overlooking real possibility here.
Listed in his tips, he suggests befriending 200 stumblers and as you grow in your account, keep only those friends who have befriended you. This is because friends who befriend you are likely to stumble your stuff.
Now, Stumble isn’t the best strategy for building links, but it’s a good option if you are looking for traffic.
I try to click my little thumb up or thumb down as much as possible — though I do feel guilty for this one, I do exercise my right to vote ![]()
Outside of making new friends on StumbleUpon, I think the only additional tip I can work on improving is to leave comments. Why that never crossed my mind, I’ll never know.
To find individual profiles to add as friends the profile link will look like this:
http://momgadget.stumbleupon.com/ My Username is MomGadget –
I’d appreciate if you would add me and please do leave YOUR link in the comment of this section so I (and other readers) can add you back ![]()

My Comment Commitment: If you leave an approved comment on any of my posts, I will visit your blog and “share it” in some way whether on StumbleUpon, Twitter or Facebook depending on if I can find a nice fit.

I never use StumbleUpon. It’s crazy that I forget about it. Thanks for the reminder.
Mary, it’s easy for me to forget Stumble too. I have a few friends who are very active in it. I think this is one of those things I’m going to try to improve on this year. What’s your username on Stumble so I can add you? I’d love to include you in my efforts increase
