11 Forgotten Laws – Taking The Secret to the Next Level
I remember seeing "The Secret" discussed on Oprah in 2006. That show propelled The Secret to an amazing level of acceptance and practice.
The Secret has transformed millions of lives globally.
If you have read the book or watched The Secret DVD you know that "the secret" is just another word for the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is a powerful law that allows everyone to be anything, do anything or have anything they want.
After reading the book (it’s available on Kindle now too) and watching the movie several times, I have tried to be committed to practicing strategies for financial freedom, better relationships and health.
I’ve experienced positive results numerous times but I’ve always felt something was missing. As if there were pieces of the puzzle that weren’t quite fitting together.
Let’s face it: Success is what each one of us wants to achieve. Our parents and teachers and the media will tell us that hard work will get us there. Unfortunately most people will only realize at the end of life that this is simply not true.
Why is it that 1% of all people account for 95% of all wealth? Why is it that some people seem to somehow attract the right partner with little effort or searching? Why do some people get that promotion at work leaving you scratching your head wondering “HOW did THAT happen?” Why do some attract the best opportunities while others seem to attract misfortune while spinning their wheels on a short road leading nowhere?
In my quest for knowledge, I discovered, the Law of Attraction was actually a small fraction, a single law, in a collection of 11 Universal Laws.
Bob Proctor, knew there were missing laws, collected them, and created a powerful course called "The 11 Forgotten Laws".
THE 11 UNIVERSAL LAWS ARE:
THE LAW OF THINKING
This law relates to your power of thought. Every single thing that you use started as a thought in the mind. What this law teaches is that you must start to form a clear picture in your mind of the things you want.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
The law that requires the least amount of explaining of any of the 11 laws. Law of Attraction is the idea that whatever you pay attention to or focus on is precisely what you attract.
THE LAW OF SUPPLY
This law teaches us that there actually is an abundant supply of whatever it is we need or want. Regardless of how bad the news tells you everything is, there really is plenty of everything to go around.
THE LAW OF RECEIVING
The law of receiving prepares you to receive all of the things that you want. Regardless of how hard you try to succeed, if you’re not ready to receive it, you won’t receive anything.
THE LAW OF INCREASE
The law of increase focuses on the ability you have to grow. Every aspect of your life can get better you just need to grow with and toward it.
THE LAW OF COMPENSATION
The law of compensation refers back the old philosophy of “you get out what you put in” or you reap what you sow. Don’t expect to succeed if you don’t put for the effort.
THE LAW OF NON-RESISTANCE
This law is one of the most overlooked yet most powerful. Whatever you resist persists. This means that the things that you hate grow stronger in your life. This law teaches to simply ignore the things you don’t like. (my most challenging)
THE LAW OF FORGIVENESS
The law of forgiveness teaches you how to fully release painful things from the past. If you’re constantly rehashing everything from your past, you’ll be challenged in your effort to move forward.
THE LAW OF SACRIFICE
The law of sacrifice teaches that in order to gain something you must choose. You aren’t necessarily losing something to get something, but you are giving of yourself to improve your circumstances.
THE LAW OF OBEDIENCE
This law teaches that the laws will work with you if you obey them. If you live an undisciplined life, you probably won’t succeed.
THE LAW OF SUCCESS
This is a combination of all of the previous laws. The law of success teaches you that you can succeed. Anyone from any background can succeed, regardless of how bad your life has been, there is still so much good you can do in the world, for those around you and for yourself.
