my super affiliate handbook3

The Super Affiliate Handbook is available in both a downloadable ebook of 200+ pages – so keep that in mind before you press the print button and paperback on Amazon.

When I purchased my copy, I bought the digital form – it’s regularly updated and provides access to frequent updates.

It is great! I truly believe ANYONE could take your info and put up a great site in a relatively short time. It is practical, straight-forward and easy to understand.

Many people will launch a successful and profitable business using this as a guide.

What is The Super Affiliate Handbook?

“The Super Affiliate Handbook” was written by Rosalind Gardner and as the title also suggests, is a handbook for affiliate marketers. The word, “super” in the title, does not mean the book was intended for super affiliates, but is a means by which Rosalind Gardner maps out how you can become a super affiliate.

Rosalind Gardner has been around as long as I can remember and absolutely knows what she’s talking about.

Rosalind delivers proof that she indeed earned $436,797 the year before the publication of “The Super Affiliate Handbook”. Rosalind Gardner has primarily earned this income by marketing affiliate products and services within the dating niche.

It was easy for me to believe Rosalind could make that kind of money because I had seen first hand the profits a micro-niche dating site could generate.

The big question is, can you recreate the same levels of success if you wish to target other markets?

I have to say, absolutely!

Of course the information Rosalind provides IS readily available on the internet for free – but would take months and months of research, reading, testing and tweaking to piece together your own blueprint that’s easily available in this one handy book.

Rosalind Gardner really goes into great detail on how you can build you own profitable Internet business. Not only does she teach you with her written examples – she provides links to actual working examples for you to see with your own eyes.

Rosalind takes you step by step and introduce new concepts on a clear and fun way. I read it from back to back and now use it as a reference book. If you want to learn what is Affiliate Marketing all about, this is the book.
Another thing I really like is that the author invites you to action on every step with very specific instructions.

Taking special care to cover subjects most authors skip or barely mention. As an example, Rosalind shares precise detail on how you can track your results. Most Internet marketers state the importance of tracking, but never tell you exactly how to accomplish this vital task. Rosalind Gardner tells you how she does it and shows you the exact spreadsheets she uses to track her visitors and buyers.

Rosalind Gardner also leads you through the formulation she uses for calculating conversion rate. This formula is widely known, but this is just an example of how she’s thought of everything, every minute step, when compiling this book.

This book is very well written in a way anyone and everyone can comprehend. Rosalind keeps the process very simple and doesn’t try to speak over you with her vast knowledge. You instantly get the feeling that a friend is sharing tried and true information with you that you can trust. As I read this book, reading her personal stories, I felt as though I was sharing trade secrets with an age old friend.

Will You Make Money With This Model?

That can only be determined by the level of commitment you are willing to place in achieving your goal. It will take time. It will take effort. It will take lots of work – but yes, it can be done and yes, you can make money by following the guides in The Super Affiliate Handbook.

I relied on Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook before and reaped the benefits greatly! Once again, I am studying and practicing the model laid out by Rosalind and highly recommend you make that $47 investment if you are desiring to make major changes in your life.

A Look at the Income of a Super Affiliate

As promised in my previous post, I’m going to give you a glimpse into my life and income during the days when I could genuinely wear the name “Super Affiliate.”

I am and have been a full-time work at home mom. For me this was a choice about lifestyle – about being at home, raising my twins, being the best mother I could be while living the life I wanted to live.

I’ve always believed nothing inspires success quite like necessity and nothing screams necessity quite like having the full responsibility of raising two kids entirely on your own.

What I’ve enjoyed most about my work at home, super affiliate lifestyle has been the ability to pick up and go anytime my kids needed me. If they had a ball game, I was there. If they had a wrestling match, I was there. If they were sick – I took care of them. Even when it comes to my parents and now my wonderful (read amazingly responsible AND employed) husband – I am there, anytime they need me.

When I began working from home, my twins were 5, now they are 17. I walked out of my job sometime the last week of June and never looked back. While my income now is a fraction of what you are about to see – my quality of life is much better and with that, I’m very happy!

Here are a few screenshots a grabbed from my PayPal account during 2008. All these show are the totals I received in that account. What is now showing are the checks and automatic deposits I received.

And when I pulled all the payments received into an Excel spreadsheet – totaled them all together I came up with this…

paypal income 2008

That total is $90,197.59

Looking at the overall financial picture of that year, one can easily consider that to be a very successful year. Everyone is different though – and their definition of success is just as unique as their own set of goals for both life and finance.

This post is not designed to be boastful, but rather to share with you that you can make money online. As much or as little as you want. I have supported myself, my kids (and a bum for 5 years) over the course of 12 years – so if I can do it, I know you can do it.

Once people learn that I make my living online, they want to know where my income comes from. The truth is, my income comes from many sources. I have several niche affiliate sites and pen names to match. It’s as simple as setting up an email that matches the niche then adding that email address to your PayPal account.

Some of my income sources include affiliate commissions, advertising, short low-cost reports that are micro-niche based and of course from Affiliate Marketing.

super affiliate handbook One of the key elements in my personal successes was my decision to purchase Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook. I waffled for weeks, bouncing back and forth, trying to find justification in spending that $47. When I finally did, I printed the entire book and placed it in a 3-ring binder. I read it once all the way through – then read it again armed with a highlighter. Since making that purchase, I have referred back to my Super Affiliate Handbook time and again.

This week is all about PROOF – so with that, my next post will be to share photos of my own copy of Super Affiliate Handbook, complete with all the orange highlighter tracks and notes I’ve managed to accrue over the years. My original go-to copy is several years old and has been the one constant reference item I have grown to rely on.

You can order a a paperback version of Super Affiliate Handbook from Amazon.com for a slightly higher price. The pitfall to this purchase option is that you won’t get log-in access to download updates. The digital version is updated frequently!

Rosalind and her Super Affiliate Handbook have been around since 2003. There have been continual updates & revisions made available for buyers ever since. Rosalind is not your typical publisher. She really practices what she teaches in her guide.

I could take the time to teach you in my own words some of the lessons Rosalind provides, but that would and could take months or years. There’s really no point in re-inventing the wheel.

I really hadn’t intended for this to turn into a “review” post for Super Affiliate Handbook – but when I look back on my own successes online – I truly can’t take credit for doing it entirely on my own. I did it with the help of Rosalind.

Watch for my in-depth review of Super Affiliate Handbook coming up.

Cheers,

Gayla

online-marketing1

There is one fact that every professional blogger needs to know – and that’s how to market. Marketing is a key element in being able to make money.

It is one thing to write quality blog posts or articles – after all, that is the very foundation of blogging. However, you’re not going to make very much money from writing alone. Marketing is the key. You have to know how to market your website in a way that brings you traffic, sure. But you need to know how to market those products in order to turn that site into a substantial income.

Good marketing requires genuine knowledge. You’ve got to gain that knowledge somewhere. As may well know, there are tons of so-called experts selling information about internet marketing and making money on the Internet. Many of those experts are simply regurgitating and re-branding information from elsewhere.

The market of “making money online” ranges from the $15 e-book to $1,000 plus course and coaching products.

So, it is easy to see how tons of money can be thrown around in an effort to learn how to make money online.

Do you know how to recognize whether you really need a particular offer?

Don’t – Buy From a Fake

Anytime there is a large, saturated market, you’re going to have a gazillion people trying to do it and promote it. When it comes to “making money online” products, there are at least a half-a-gazillion faks. There are many people who duplicate what others are doing, do a mile re-write and then sell the product as their own. You’ve got people who will buy private label rights (PLR) content and re-sell it.

I’m not going to say this practice is entirely unethical. PLR is all perfectly legit and does come in handy for creating fill content on topics that simply hold the same shape – I mean there are only so many reasons for male-pattern baldness, right? Nothing new to create!

There are however, a lot of shortcuts in this market, and many people take them.

Now, as a consumer, don’t you want to spend your money with a person or business who actually knows what they’re talking about?

Given the economy, many people don’t have hundreds to spend on tools. It can depend heavily on the price point. If we’re talking about a $15 e-book, maybe the person who wrote it doesn’t matter so much. It’s only $15. But, for some of the higher priced items, it most definitely matters.

Being the skeptic that I am, I prefer to do business with people who have a proven track record or that have actually done what they teach. I like to look for valid proof that they’ve accomplished goals similar to those I have mapped for myself.

Don’t – Be a Product Collector

I’ve seen people who want to make money online but always seem to be an information and product collector rather than a doer.

The product collector generates a nice revenue for those so-called gurus. They’ll buy the product, perhaps hoping that that product contains the one magical element that will open the floodgates to their online income.

The collector then ends up with a bookshelf that is littered with similar products under different disguises – many of which they’ve never acted on at all.

This business is all about ACTION.

There are tons of tactics and strategies out there that lead to the same result in different ways. The one single common denominator is that all tactics require that you stop making excuses, get off your rear and do something with the knowledge you’ve gained!

If you purchase a marketing product geared toward online marketing, plan on applying it – make a commitment, above all else, to do so. Otherwise, you are doing nothing more than wasting your money.

Have you spent money on “make money online” products? Which ones? What mistakes have you made and what recommendations would you make to someone just starting out?
